Nice event, thanks to all those who put their time and effort into it.

I want to thank Jim and Robin for their hard work and effort in organising the tournament. The whole weekend was a very enjoyable experience. Numbers were disappointing, however, we must give praise the Pauline Douglas and Bernie Beattie who were the only two ladies in the event. It would have been easy for them to cancel but instead they travelled to Dumfries and supported the tournament, well done to both. Walter

It was my first Dumfries Masters and I was very impressed by the facilities, the atmosphere at the club and those involved in the tournament. It’s not easy volunteering and running an event at short notice so a big thank you in making it happen. I look forward to playing it again.

Disappointing entry particularly with only 2 ladies!

Very disappointed to have to play three matches in one day including one against another player who also played three. he and I could easily have played the following day and hence played two matches each per day? Tournament organisation is always difficult so I am not being critical and appreciate everyone's efforts, Jim in particular.

Organisation of an evening meal on Saturday was a great idea.

It was disappointing to have such a small amount of players. On the other hand, Jim and his team did a great job making everyone feel very welcome. It also meant that you got to know everyone and the atmosphere was just great.
Well done to Jim and Karen for organsing dinner for those that wanted on the Sat eve. Even providing a ‘taxi service’ for anyone who needed.

Really nice club - nice people.
