Very disappointed with officials attitude next to courts. They where more interested in their cellphones than what was happening on the courts. Also had very rude attitude towards players and spectatures.

Officials were useless unfortunately, we as parents pay exhortant amounts of money and invest immense time in preparing our kids for these big events, to have our efforts wasted time and time again by kids cheating, swearing and behaving badly, with both their parents and supposedly trained officials never intervening and penalising the culprits. Someone really needs to start taking control of these big events and run them more professionally. The well behaved and honest kids always seem to be getting done in and this can be easily remedied if officials started applying the rules as intended and stop being scared of unruly kids and parents.

More matches could have been played on day 1 especially if you noticed that rain was on the way. Too many courts open when some matches still had to be played. I do not understand why the doubles in the gold draw was put on before the platinum draw on the last day whilst rain was on the way. I went to 2 or 3 venues inbetween and the officiating was terrible. Only 1 official at Mundene was doing his job, the other official when asked to assist stood like a statue and did absolutely nothing. He could sweep the court but when it came to knowing the rules he had absolutely no clue what was going on. You just created a scenario where the same kids cheated to go through to the next round - how are our kids suppose to get somewhere in tennis when they know the rules but the official doesn't?

I am not happy about the officials not disqualifing children that is swearing on the court on other children.

I made 2 complaints at the court but the official just called the other official and did not do anything about that.

There could have been played more games on the first day then and they should have checked the weather.
There were alot of courts open for sometimes more than an hour.
And there were alot of parents talking and shouting not only to the oponets on the courts also on the other parents. It was upsetting my child!!!
Overall grey college was great!!!! Loved nationals but please get some officials that are doing there job correctley its not a normal mini!!!

Great tournament just sad to see that not very strict and very strong action was taken against senior players getting completely out of hand with unnecessary arguments with officials and a lot of swearing on court with no action against them and a good preview of bad tennis behaviour was on TV news tonight

Please check results for various Double Draws that were cancelled athough Draw results indicate that Winners were allocated in several draws while these games were never played. Even if walkovers were relevant in certain games, they were not played because of weather as per communication by TSA. Walkovers for such to be changed to “not played” otherwise other teams also had “walkovers” as they were ready to go on court, but not called to go on court because of weather, and games were cancelled. No point allocation can be relevant further than last games played post TSA cancellations of games as per communique.
